• Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior
• Eat at least 4 hours before 
• Hydrate - be sure to drink plenty of water before and after your tattoo
• Ensure the area to be tattooed is clean, with no rashes, burns, open wounds

Fine line tattoos are delicate and can be susceptible to fading and blurring, especially if not properly maintained.

The first 2-3 days 

• With clear bandage on, shower and wash with running water, as usual.  
• Fluid or plasma appear under sealed bandage, it’s normal and healthy. 
• Remove bandage gently after 72 hours 
• If skin becomes irritated, you plan to sweat excessively, or the bandage starts to peel, it’s ok to remove early. 

 The first 10-14 days 

• When bandage is off, gently wash twice daily with warm water and mild, soap.  Pat dry with clean paper towel. 
• After each wash, and as needed, apply tiny amount of A&D Ointment provided. 
• DO NOT submerge or soak. No baths, pools, hot tubs, lakes or oceans. 
• DO NOT expose to direct sun while healing, and always apply SPF 50. 
• DO NOT scratch or pick, if itchy or flaky. 

If you notice extreme swelling or heat, green or yellow discharge, or fever and chills, consult a doctor immediately. 

Complimentary touch up provided once fully healed (after 4-6 weeks), if desired.
