Fine line tattoos are delicate and can be susceptible to fading and blurring, especially if not properly maintained.
1. Keep clean - a clear bandage will be applied as soon as the tattoo is finished. Leave this bandage on for 24-48 hours, then remove. Gently wash with mild, fragrance-free soap and warm water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Repeat for 2-3 days.
2. Moisturize - gently apply a small amount of Vitamin A&D Ointment (provided) or fragrance-free moisturizer to the tattooed area. Repeat as needed.
3. Avoid Sun and Soaking - keep tattoo away from direct sunlight, especially for the first 10 days, and apply a high SPF. Avoid swimming, hot tubs, and otherwise soaking area for first 7 days.
4. Don’t Scratch - do not pick or scratch at the tattoo, even if a scab forms, as this may distort the image.
Tattoos generally take up to 6 weeks to fully heal. Due to their thin and delicate nature, especially if after care is neglected, touch up service may be required.
